The under-18, under-16, under-15 and under-14 sides were all in action yesterday (Sunday).

The u16 team completed a dream 48 hours, following their 1-0 victory over Maidstone United on Friday evening at the Gallagher Stadium where Callum Tydeman had scored the only goal of the game, as they beat VCD Athletic 4-0.

Top goalscorer David Blaikie moved onto 11 goals for the season, while Zach Argent’s brace moved him ahead of Ryan Phillips in second-place in the goal scoring chart, despite Phillips also netting in the win.

Six points from these two matches have taken the Lilywhites to the top of the Kent Youth League, Central Division Table.

However, both Rusthall and Maidstone United – in second and third positions – have a number of games in hand on Town.

The under-15 outfit also collected three points from their 2-0 victory at Dover Athletic through goals from Harrison Taylor and Jack Smith’s first goal of the season.

They too remain top of their League Table and in pole position to grab the Kent Youth League, South Division title.

They will meet the same opposition on the Abbey School’s 3G pitch next Sunday (10.30am kick-off).

The u18 side appeared to be heading to a win at home themselves until Holland & Blair converted a late penalty to snatch a 1-1 draw. But an earlier goal from Jake Salthouse did at least grab a point for Town.

The result means fifth-placed Faversham remain four points behind Holland & Blair, in third, with one fixture in hand.

The two teams meet again next weekend at Star Meadow Sports Club, as the Lilywhites aim for a top-three finish.

Meanwhile, the under-14 outfit were beaten 3-0 by Folkestone Invicta, who are four points behind league leaders Holland & Blair in the Kent Youth League, South Division with the title race hotting up.

All four of these sides play in the Kent Youth League (their website can be found from here).
