Faversham Town 2 Chipstead 1

By Brad Freelove

Faversham’s had lady luck shining on them for their play-off hopes as two freak goals saw them beat Chipstead.
After the first half was dominated by the home side, it was the relegation-threated side who took the lead on 70 minutes. A goalmouth scramble allowed Derek Tieku to slot home coolly from a few yards out.
Two minutes later, a free-kick from Charley Robinson, which was halfway inside Chipstead’s half went in after it deceived the goalkeeper.
The second goal was even stranger as just on the 90th minute, a free-kick from goalkeeper Will Godmon, inside his own half, managed to loop its way in and send the home sides’ fans home happy with the three points.

Goalkeeper William Godmon scored Faversham's winner in their 2-1 win over Chipstead.
