The under-16 team were the only Faversham Town youth side in action yesterday (Sunday).
They began 2016 with a comprehensive 7-2 home win over Canterbury Youth.
Joe Kay bagged a brace to move onto three competitive goals for the season, Jamie Purdy moved clear as the outfit’s top goalscorer with his 7th goal this campaign, while Harrison Taylor was also on the scoresheet and moved level with Harry Beare as second top goalscorer.
In addition, Jamie Sherlock netted along with Jack Smith and Liam Magee, who scored their first goals of the season.
The result leaves the U16 team in 4th position in the Kent Youth League, South Division Table on 19 points off nine league fixtures.
