Faversham Town’s under-18, under-15 and under-14 teams were all in Kent Youth League action in the final weekend before Christmas yesterday (Sunday), while the U16 outfit hosted Tonbridge Angels at the Shepherd Neame Stadium in their Kent County Cup Third Round tie.
The under-18 team took a 1-0 lead, away at VCD Athletic, through Jack Osborne’s 1st competitive goal of the season but let the lead slip and fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat.

Cody Bryant and Max Livingstone, with a penalty, continued to match each other as second joint top goalscorer, as they both moved onto six competitive goals this campaign. Jamie Chamberlain and Kofi Adu-Boamah lead the way with eight goals each.
That result means Leigh Brown’s team end 2015 in 7th position in their Kent Youth League, South Division Table on 13 points off 12 league games.
Meanwhile, the U14 outfit produced their performance of the season to restrict current league leaders Ashford United Youth to a 5-0 win.
